The ‘Coffee Prince‘ cast is getting together 13 years after the classic Korean drama wrapped up for a special documentary.
The MBCLife dropped a teaser on Tuesday, September 15, of the stars—Gong Yoo, Yoon Eun-hye, Lee Sun-gyun, Lee Jae-wook, Kim Dong-wook, and Chae Jung-an—reuniting to two of the Coffee Prince’s most iconic filming locations.
Since the 2007 Korean drama wrapped up 13 years ago, the two featured coffee shops featured have become popular tourist attractions.
Most members of the cast have also gone on to become prominent stars in Korean TV and film, with Gong Yoo starring in Goblin and Train to Busan, and Lee Sun-gyun starring in the Oscar-winning Parasite.
According to South Korean pop culture website Soompi, the documentary will feature the cast talking about the show from their 2020 perspective.
Coffee Prince is about a woman, Go Eun-chan (Yoon Eun-hye), who disguises herself as a boy to work in a coffee shop that only hires men. The shop ran by Choi Han-kyul (Gong Yoo) is a chaebol who hires Eun-chan in exchange to pretend as his boyfriend to avoid an arranged marriage.
