“Snowdrop” resumes filming, cast & crew all COVID-19 negative


UPDATE: JTBC drama “Snowdrop” resumes filming after receiving COVID-19 negative test results for all of its cast and crew.

On November 24, JTBC announced that their new drama starring South Korean actor Jung Hae-in and BLACKPINK member Jisoo had halted filming after one of their supporting actors had close contact with a COVID-19 positive patient.

The day after, JTBC confirmed with various media outlets that the “Snowdrop” cast have all tested negative for the virus, including the supporting actor previously mentioned. Additionally, all staff and crew members who had close contact with the supporting actor tested negative of the virus.

According to JTBC, filming schedules are yet to be confirmed, but they “plan on resuming filming soon while keeping in line with COVID-19 prevention guidelines.”

The drama is scheduled to air in 2021. It will also feature Jang Seung-jo, Kim Hye-yoon, and more.
