South Korean girl group TWICE made their debut on the Billboard’s Hot 100—a weekly ranking of the most popular song in the United States—Monday for their latest track, The Feels, standing at No. 83.
It also ranked at No. 5 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart for the first time this week, making TWICE the second K-pop girl group in history to ever make it on the top five. The first K-pop girl group who have ever entered the chart was BLACKPINK, placing two of their songs: How You Like That and Ice Cream featuring Selena Gomez.
Moreover, The Feels debuted on Billboard’s Global Charts at No. 10 on the Global Excl. US chart, marking the nine-member group’s highest entry yet. It also previously became TWICE’s first song ever to enter the United Kingdom’s Official Singles Chart.
TWICE is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment that debuted in 2015 with the EP The Story Begins. It is a nine-member group composed of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu.
Some of their popular songs include Fancy (2019), TT (2016), Cheer Up (2016), and Yes or Yes (2018), to mention a few.
