Filipino group SB19 takes on its sixth week at number one on the Hot Trending Songs of Billboard with their hit ‘Bazinga.’
Powered by Twitter, the charts determine the song’s spot and popularity through the number of mentions and momentum. ‘Bazinga’ garnered No. 1 thanks to 4.2 million mentions on Twitter from January 7 to 14. The music video of the song first premiered in October. The boys then performed the song in November at the 34th Awit Awards. On New Year’s Eve, the group performed the song once again at the BYE2021 digital music festival.
The Hot Trending Songs charts by Billboard, which are sponsored by Capital One and powered by Twitter, determine worldwide trends in music and real-time conversations and tweets, viewable in the previous 24 hours or seven days.
‘Bazinga’s’ reign on the charts matches that of BTS’ Butter, which previously led the charts for six weeks from November to December.
