The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 10 is hiring Geodetic Engineers. 

Interested applicants must be a licensed Geodetic Engineer who is not more than 40 years of age and has to accomplish the following documents listed below:

  1. Fully accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with recent passport-sized picture (CS Form No. 212, Revised 2017) which can be downloaded at www.csc.gov.ph;
  2. Performance rating in the last rating period (if applicable);
  3. Photocopy of certified eligibility/rating/license; and
  4. Photocopy of Transcript of Records.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify and assume liability for work performed.
  2. Verify the accuracy of the survey data, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
  3. Prepare or supervise the preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, and records related to surveys.
  4. Write descriptions of property boundary surveys for use in deeds, leases, or other legal purposes.
  5. Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
  6. Coordinate findings with work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and other concerned with projects.
  7. Establish fixed points for use in making maps using geodetic and engineering instruments.
  8. Train assistant and helpers direct their work in such activities as performing surveys or drafting maps.
  9. Compute geodetic measurements and interpret survey data in order to determine positions, shapes, and elevations of geomorphic and topographic features.
