Y’all, I can’t believe 2021 is about to wrap up soon! Ready to binge-watch for the upcoming holiday season? 

Netflix Philippines released Thursday the last list of titles coming to the streaming platform for 2021—from the epic animated series Jojo’s Bizarre adventure to the finale season of the world’s biggest heist to the eccentric duo of Leonardo de Caprio and Jennifer Lawrence’s characters in the upcoming film Don’t Look Up

What’s coming to Netflix Philippines this December 2021?

December 1: The Power of the Dog – a 2021 western drama based on the 1967 novel of the same name by Thomas Savage that follows the story of an overbearing rancher who finds himself exposed to the possibility of love when he met his brother’s wife and her son.

December 1: Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean – the sixth story arc of the Japanese manga series JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.


December 3: La Casa de Papel (Money Heist) Part 5 Vol 2 – the final season of the world’s greatest heist.

December 3: The Tapes Season 1 – a 2020 Philippine television series set in 1999, following the story of two copy who “investigate a mysterious tape of a woman who vanished years ago and is drawn into the haunting world of the occult.”

December 3: Hush Season 1 – a 2019 Philippine erotic-drama anthology series that features stories that stimulate physical and emotional arousal, showcasing the lives of different people and their sexual universe of intimacy, pleasure, and pain usually talked about only in the comfort of their privacy—in a hush.

December 8: Titans Season 3 – the third season of the American superhero based on the DC Comics team Teen Titans.

December 9: Arisaka – directed by renowned Filipino director Mikhail Red, Arisaka is a 2021 Filipino Western action-thriller film about a policewoman who must retrace the trail of the Bataan Death March to escape her captors.

December 10: The Unforgivable – a 2021 film based on the 2009 British miniseries Unforgiven, written by Sally Wainwright about a woman who attempts to rebuild her life after serving time in prison for committing a violent crime.

December 10: Back to the Outback – an upcoming computer-animated film following a group of Australia’s deadliest creatures who plots a daring escape from their zoo to the uninhabited inland regions.

December 17: The Witcher Season 2 – the second season of the fantasy drama series based on the book of the same name written by Andrzej Sapkowski. Set on a fictional, medieval-inspired landmass known as “the Continent,” The Witcher explores the legend of Geralt of Rivia and Princess Ciri, who are linked to each other by destiny.

December 22: Emily in Paris Season 2 – the second season of the American-French comedy-drama series about an American who moves to Paris to provide an American point of view to Savoir, a French marketing firm.

December 22: Schitt’s Creek Season 1-6 – a complete season series (from 2015-2020) following a formerly filthy-rich Rose family who was suddenly reduced to living in a ramshackle motel in a town they once bought as a joke: Schitt’s Creek.

December 24: Don’t Look Up – an upcoming American satirical science fiction film that tells the story of two low-level astronomers who must go on a giant media tour to warn mankind of an approaching comet that will destroy planet Earth.

December 24: The Silent Sea – an upcoming South Korean Sci-fi mystery series based on the 2014 short film The Sea of Tranquility written and directed by Choi Hang-yong, who will also direct the series. Set way into the future, where has undergone desertification, the story revolves around members of a special team sent to secure a mysterious sample from an abandoned research facility, Balhae Base research station, on the moon.

December 31: Cobra Kai Season 4 – the fourth installment of the American martial arts comedy-drama series and a sequel to the original The Karate Kid (1984).

December 31: Queer Eye Season 6 – the sixth season of the American reality tv show reboot of the Bravo series of the same name featuring the new Fab Five: Antoni Porowski, food and wine expert; Tan France, fashion expert; Karamo Brown, culture expert; Bobby Berk, design expert; and Jonathan Van Ness, grooming expert.
