“Janine Gutierrez is now a certified Kapamilya!”

After 9 years of being part of the Kapuso Network, Janine Gutierrez is now officially a Kapamilya. On January 15, Leo Dominguez, Gutierrez’s talent manager, shared a photo of the actress during her contract signing with ABS-CBN.

Photos of said contract signing were also published online by Dreamscape Entertainment. During the contract signing, Gutierrez, Dominguez, and Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Edrinal were present. Also in attendance were ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez, President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO Cory Vidanes, and Ric Tan.

Regarding what projects Gutierrez will be working on, ABS-CBN and Dreamscape Entertainment have yet to make an announcement.

Late December of last year, reports of Gutierrez transferring to the Kapamilya Network circulated online when her contract with GMA expired in November. Gutierrez was also spotted having dinner with actor Paulo Avelino and other Dreamscape executives.

In 2020, Gutierrez won two Best Actress awards in Gawad Urian and FAMAS for her role in “Babae at Baril.” Rae Red directed the movie, which was shown the previous year at the QCinema Film Festival.

Janine is the daughter of Ramon Christopher and Lotlot de Leon, one of the country’s most popular loveteams in the 80’s. She is the granddaughter of Eddie Gutierrez and Pilita Corrales.
