The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that an Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will persist over Davao and Soccsksargen regions.
In today’s weather bulletin, May 7, it said that cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms may affect the southern portion of Mindanao due to the ITCZ.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers may affect Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to Easterlies or localized thunderstorms.
The state weather bureau also warned of possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.
