Following the rise of COVID-19 infections in the country in 2020, the City Government of Taguig City launched a contact tracing system that serves as a personal digital identification and health declaration form. Dubbed as the TRACE Taguig City app, it generates a quick response (QR) code for individuals to use upon entering public and private establishments within the city.
Registration for the app can be done through either the app available for both Android and iOS devices, a website application, or self-service kiosks found around the city. The Taguig LGU also conducted a door-to-door registration during the earlier days of the launch to cater to those who do not have access to technology.

Register to TRACE Taguig qr code
Step 1: Go to https://traceportal.taguig.gov.ph/registration
Step 2: Select your appropriate classification: resident, transient worker, or visitor
Step 4: Once done, you’ll now have your unique Taguig QR code generated. Make sure to save a copy, download, or print the QR code as you will use this one to enter public and private establishments within the city.
Download TRACE Taguig app through Google Play Store
Step 1: Go to Google Play Store and search for TRACE Taguig
Step 2: Once done downloading, register an account if you don’t have one yet
Step 3: Fill out the registration form along with your location and personal information
Step 4: Once done, you can now generate and download your Taguid QR code. Make sure to save a copy, download, or print the QR code as you will use this one to enter public and private establishments within the city.
