COVID-19 UPDATE: Pinikitan now has 4 confirmed cases, CDeO total now at 8


Cagayan de Oro recorded one new COVID-19 case on Tuesday.


Another family member of patient 6783, a 69-year-old man from Pinikitan, Barangay Camaman-an who died due to coronavirus complications, tested positive. With this, there are now three family members of patient 6783 who contracted the contagious disease.

The regional health department said all three patients exhibited no symptoms or asymptomatic and currently under quarantine at the City’s Isolation Unit.

The new case brings the total number of confirmed cases in the city to eight, with four deaths, one recovery, and three outpatient who are currently under strict home quarantine.
