Cagayan de Oro logs 63 new recoveries over the weekend


Cagayan de Oro City reported 31 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday, November 16.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged a total of 31 new cases over the weekend, one of whom is a locally stranded individual (LSI) and 30 are local cases.

With this, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the city are at 2,068.

Out of the cumulative total, 609 are active cases, 27 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 566 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and 16 cases under the ROF/LSI category.

Dr. Nery also announced 63 new recoveries and two new deaths, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 1,376 and 83, respectively.

Of the cumulative total, 373 are under the LSI/ROF category, with 16 active cases, one death (ROF), and 356 recovered. Meanwhile, local cases rise to 1,695 with 566 active cases, 82 deaths, and 1,020 recoveries.
