CdeO logs 56 new COVID-19 cases; total now at 5,057


Cagayan de Oro City reported 56 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged 56 new confirmed cases as of 10 PM yesterday, 25 of which are local cases with known links, six local APORs, 23 local index cases, and two deaths.

With this, the city has a total cumulative of 5,057 COVID-19 cases.

Out of the total cumulative, 572 are active cases, 142 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 427 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and three cases under the ROF/LSI category.

Dr. Nery also announced 20 new recoveries and two death, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 4,265 and 220 respectively.
