Cagayan de Oro City reported 105 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday, May 3, 2021.
In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged 105 new confirmed cases over the weekend of May 1-2.
BREAKDOWN: On May 1, the city logged 63 new confirmed cases, of which 15 local cases with links, 18 local APORs, 29 local index cases, and one death. Meanwhile, on May 2, the city has recorded 42 new confirmed cases, of which 18 local cases with links, 6 local APORs, and 18 local index cases.
With this, the city has a total cumulative of 5,001 COVID-19 cases.
Out of the total cumulative, 538 are active cases, 128 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 407 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and three cases under the ROF/LSI category.
Dr. Nery also announced 41 new recoveries and one death, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 4,245 and 218 respectively.
