Cagayan de Oro City reported 59 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.
In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged 59 new confirmed cases as of 10 PM yesterday, two of which are locally stranded individuals (LSIs), 28 local cases with links, nine local APORs, 17 local index cases. Three deaths were recorded among the newly reported cases.
With this, the city has a total cumulative of 4,733 COVID-19 cases.
Out of the total cumulative, 360 are active cases, 99 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 257 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and four cases under the ROF/LSI category.
Dr. Nery also announced 12 new recoveries and five new deaths, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 4,159 and 214 respectively.
