Cagayan de Oro coronavirus cases rise to 2,365


Cagayan de Oro City reported 18 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Tuesday, December 1.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged a total of 18 new cases as of 10 PM yesterday, all of which are local transmissions.

With this, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the city are at 2,365.

Out of the cumulative total, 477 are active cases, 58 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 399 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and 20 cases under the ROF/LSI category.

Dr. Nery also announced 21 new recoveries and no new death, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 1,785 and 103, respectively.

Of the cumulative total, 389 are under the LSI/ROF category, with 20 active cases, one death (ROF), and 368 recovered. Meanwhile, local cases rise to 1,976 with 399 active cases, 102 deaths, and 1,417 recoveries.
