OMG OMG OMG, I’m screaming!
It’s official! BLACKPINK’s Lisa will release her solo music for the first time this summer, Billboard confirmed.
According to another news outlet Soompi, the group’s label YG Entertainment has reportedly shared the news about the maknae’s (youngest) solo debut, saying, “Lisa will film the music video for her new song this week. She will be making her solo debut this summer.”
The 24-year-old singer-rapper will be the penultimate member of BLACKPINK to release solo music. Jennie led the way in November 2018 with her single aptly titled “SOLO,” followed by Rosé, who teased her solo debut during the group’s The Show livestream concert earlier this year. Rosé released her solo project in March, including her two singles, “Gone” and “On the Ground.” So far, the solo projects of the girls were openly received by both fans and the public, setting world-record feats and numerous awards.
Jisoo will be the last one left to make her solo debut out of the foursome, who is also currently working on her upcoming debut drama “Snowdrop.”
Moreover, the girls are set to celebrate their fifth anniversary this August with a special “4+1 Project,” as well as teased their fans about a new film titled BLACKPINK The Movie next month. – WhatALife.ph
