BLACKPINK member Jisoo and South Korean actor Jung Hae-in takes a break from filming their upcoming drama titled “Snowdrop” after one of the cast’s supporting actors had close contact with a COVID-19 positive patient.
On a post by Koreaboo on Twitter, the caption reads “BLACKPINK Jisoo And Jung Hae In’s Drama ‘Snowdrop’ Halts Filming Due To Coronavirus Scare.”
Because of this, the filming for “Snowdrop” has been suspended since November 23, Monday, following the supporting actor’s close contact with the rest of the drama’s cast.
JTBC, the drama’s network, has released an official statement about the show, saying: “We have confirmed that there are no confirmed cases of Coronavirus within the Snowdrop team, but there is an extra actor who was in close contact with a confirmed case.
The network added, “We have temporarily suspended filming to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and for the safety of all our team.”
JTBC ends the statement, saying that they are waiting for the results of the test to come out.
“Snowdrop” is a story of a male university student who finds himself in a women’s dormitory, thereby sparking romance between the students. The drama’s main cast includes Jang Seung-jo, Yoon Se-ah, Kim Hye-yoon, and Jung Eugene.
