Butuan City remains under the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) until July 15, declared by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), which means stay at home is a must.
Individuals below 18 and above 65 years old are not allowed to go out. The home quarantine pass or work pass is also required, and a curfew is in effect between 10 PM to 4 AM.
If you’re planning to travel to Butuan, make sure that your errands are essential. Non-essential travel is highly discouraged.
Travelers are expected to follow the minimum health protocol, including the observance of physical distancing, frequent hand sanitizing, proper couch etiquette, and adequately wearing of face masks and face shields at all times. In addition, must have no close contact with COVID-positive individuals in the last 14 days. If possible, conduct a week or two of personal isolation prior to the date of travel.

Travelers need to present a NEGATIVE test result of either of the following: RT-PCR (nasopharyngeal), saliva-based RT-PCR, or Rapid Antigen test (AgT) at least five (5) days before departure.

Present any valid/government-issued identification card. For government or private authorized person outside of residence on official business must present, along with their government/company ID/Certificate of Employment, a travel order or mission order, letter of acceptance from the receiving local government, and a travel itinerary (if possible).
